New Self-Help Book to Helps Many to Overcome Church Hurt and Gain Spiritual Freedom

Self-help Book Confronts Issues of Church Hurt in Both Practical and Spiritual Ways

Lanham, MD – November 11, 2019 – Author and self-help relationship expert, Rasheda McGuire, released her book “Church Daggers: How to Overcome Church Hurt and Gain Spiritual Freedom.” Published by Absolute Author Publishing House, the book is available on Amazon in eBook and paperback. Filled with sound advice to overcome hurt experienced in church by Christians and church leaders, the book unfolds creatively in an open conversation. Church Daggers is packed with personal stories, realistic information and confronts a very sensitive topic that affects many churchgoers and ministry leaders alike.

According to McGuire, “Church hurt can leave you feeling angry, rejected, disappointed, and spiritually wounded. Navigating healing from church hurt is not an easy task. Many end up frustrated, walking away from church, and fractured in their relationship with God.”

She is so on point. I led my worship team for more than a dozen years only to leave the church because of church hurt. Her book helped me to heal,” said Dr. Melissa Caudle

Caudle isn’t alone in her opinion. Other reviews are as glowing.

“With the amount of church hurt I’ve experienced over the years, I thought not to buy this book but I am so glad I did. Rasheda’s testimony and perspective make this not only a really good read but also super informative and quite helpful. I’m certainly feeling encouraged to engage my former church community again.” – Alexandra Hagos

The title intrigued me. This book is spiritual, with some practical advice. I felt a lift in my spirit when I prayed the prayers at the end of each chapter out loud.” – Tamika McCray

On Saturday, December 14, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. at McGuire Therapeutic Services in Lanham, Maryland, Rasheda will be holding a book launch party. The public is invited to attend.
